Finally, we can get out of the house and again do the things we took for granted – well, with keeping social distancing. Who would have thought that getting a haircut, going to the mall, or sitting down for dinner at a restaurant would be so liberating?

Now that the country is opening back up for business, you are preparing to do the things needed to ensure your place of work is safe for your customers and employees. Each business will have a specific set of guidelines, but common themes are emerging – don’t touch things, face masks are the new fashion trend, stay 6 feet apart, and communication is paramount!

At ScreenBroidery, we are preparing the same at our main office, retail stores, fulfillment center, and production facilities. In doing so, we have put together a list of items you may not have thought about and can manufacture for you!

1. No-touch menus, sales sheets, and displays (QR code and NFC enabled) – These might be the dirtiest things items in a place of work – think about how many people touch a menu in the course of a day? Gross. Think about a menu that can be digital and be accessed through a cell phone. We can QR code or load them with NFC so menus, sales information, specials, etc. can be quickly accessed from a mobile device.

2. Bulk hand sanitizer in all sizes: 2-ounce bottles, spray bottles, gallon jugs, drums, and 250-gallon totes. Sanitizer is sold out everywhere, we have some! It looks like bulk batches of it is going to be required to be on hand at a number of types of operations.

3. Face covering and masks. Already, a lot of establishments are denying access without a face covering. These will soon be the new fashion trend. We can supply these to you, your staff, and your customers with blank or branded masks in lots of different styles and price points.

4. Branded tape to mark off 6 feet distances. Some places will be required to tape off sections of the floor to ensure people are keeping their distance from another. If you are going to tape off areas, at least put your logo on the tape.

5. Floor graphics with instructions and or stand here marks. High traffic floor graphics are a perfect way to communicate a message, show people where to stand, and look good. We can design and manufacture graphics of all types for any need.

6. Retractable banners for entrances or high traffic areas. Each business is going to need to easily communicate rules of operations and procedures to employees and customers when they enter the workplace. A retractable banner is an inexpensive and easy way to do so. Our creative team at ScreenBroidery can help with design so you look good and communicate your message.

7. Plastic window separation shields. Tellers and cashiers who see customers all day long will be required to have a protective barrier. We can supply plastic barrier shields of all sizes and shapes and brand them to make them look less of a division.

8. Personal drinkware since sharing things is now taboo. Most offices have kitchenettes where we share coffee mugs, silverware, etc. If cleaned there may not be anything wrong with continuing this, but instead, there is going to be an underlying thought that this is gross. Instead of having shared items, think about getting each person their own drink and silverware to use in the office.

9. Employee welcomes back kits (nothing says we missed you like a box of swag). We all thought working from home would be so great… now we can’t wait to get back into the office. Welcome your employees back with a gift saying, “we missed you”.

10. Anti-Germ Utility Tools. We never thought about how many times we turn on a sink, touch a door handle to head into the next meeting, or flip on a light switch. We have some utility tools that solve all of those problems for you. Want it on a retractable badge reel? We can do that too.
